Kelly Magner
My yoga is a living, breathing, spiritual practice. I started studying the texts of yoga in 2014 and am drawn to the philosophy and techniques that sometimes feel mysterious to our western mind. I trained in many different yoga styles which lead me to Viniyoga, a Krishnamacharyia lineage as passed along through his son, T.K.V. Desikachar and my teachers Chase Bossart, Amanda Green as well as my on-going personal mentor Robyn Love.
My joy comes from passing along this ancient practice in private sessions and small functional groups. I am drawn to the practical application and interpretation of the yoga texts and love to teach these philosophies as a tool to reach a deeper connection to your inner voice.
My focus is to use our time together to foster your personal relationship to yoga as a living, breathing, daily practice to make your life better.

Personal Practice & Life
My Personal Practice
My day starts early with my own personal yoga practice and ends with another evening practice. In addition to my personal practice I take community Viniyoga classes and live with an Ayurvedic rhythm, so don't call me after 9pm because I'll probably be asleep.
Personal Life
My husband and I met in college, together we have 3 grown children and 4 lively grandchildren. When I'm not teaching, reading, discussing or studying yoga I can be found enjoying the ease of being a grandparent, strolling along the sand with my college sweetheart, hanging with family and friends or chilling in my hammock. After many busy years of juggling homeschooling and work, my hammock is finally getting used!
